For incoming freshmen, the transition to college life can be a challenge, especially when balancing expenses and coursework at the same time. For many, it’s the gift of financial support that turns their academic experience from a constant struggle to a real opportunity.
Since 1968, the President’s Endowed Scholarship (PES) program has been a key to unlocking students’ true potential at Texas A&M University, inspiring outstanding scholars to make Aggieland their home by covering the costs associated with collegiate education. Each year, the PES program helps attract the best and brightest to Texas A&M, offering recognition that goes beyond financial support and affirming students’ character and commitment to their future.
What sets this program apart is that financial need is not a factor when evaluating applicants. Instead, the program honors those who have already demonstrated academic merit, leadership qualities and social excellence. To date, more than 8,800 students from across the nation — including 1,372 current students — have attended Texas A&M thanks to a PES, making it one of the university’s most respected awards and a cornerstone of student success.
