How It Works:

A contract between you and the Texas A&M Foundation, a charitable gift annuity can be created with a $10,000 minimum gift of cash or securities. In return, the Foundation provides fixed payments to one or two individuals for life.

After this time, the remainder of the annuity will benefit whatever area of Texas A&M you wish. Individuals receiving payments must be at least 50, while the fixed payments will depend on the age of the recipient.

You can also choose to start receiving payments at a later date by creating a deferred gift annuity.

If you are 70.5 or older, you have a unique opportunity to use an IRA qualified distribution to fund a one-time CGA of up to $53,000 or a combined CGA of up to $106,000 if funded together with your spouse. Learn more here.
